Cavide Uyargil graduated from School of Economics at İstanbul University in 1973. Having worked in the professional business field for 5 years, she started working at the Personnel Management Department of the School of Business at İstanbul University. Uyargil received her PhD, having successfully completed her dissertation titled as the Importance of Job Design in the Humanization of Work Life. Uyargil was appointed Associate Professor in 1988 and became Professor in 1996. She retired from the Department of Human Resource Management at the School of Business of İstanbul University in September 2016. Cavide Uyargil currently lectures in the area of human resource management at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Sabancı University and Kültür University in İstanbul. She has published a book titled Performance Management System (Performans Yönetimi Sistemi). While Uyargil has authored book chapters on Human Resource Management with her colleagues from the Department of Human Resource Management at the School of Business of İstanbul University, she has also published various articles in internationally qualified peer reviewed journals.
